Retail and Customer Service Training Program
This Goodwill program helps prepare students for employment in the fast-paced retail sector.
For more than 85 years, Goodwill has operated successful retail stores throughout the region. We are using that expertise to provide a job training program designed to give participants the specific training needed to gain employment in the retail sector.
According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, retail salespersons and cashiers are the two largest occupations in the United States. In Washington State, 11 percent of the non-farm workforce is employed in the retail industry. The retail field has many opportunities for our students to take the first step on the employment ladder toward economic self-sufficiency.
The Retail & Customer Service Training Program is an intensive 9-week course that combines classroom and on-the-job training prepares students for jobs in the retail industry.
