When domestic violence forced Sofia to to move to a new country she left behind a good job and her employment history. Goodwill helped Sofia into a new life by helping her continue her education.

The birth of her grandchildren provided the motivation Nicquelle needed to finally end a 15-20 year battle with chemical dependency and the lifestyle needed to support her habit. She “wanted to lead by example,” and she did with Goodwill's help.

Chris came to the United States from Benin, Africa seeking political asylum and greater opportunity. A Goodwill retail training program was the launching pad needed to begin a new life.
