Volunteer at the Glitter Gala

Goodwill is looking for volunteer groups or individuals to help out at our first annual Glitter Gala to celebrate the 25th anniversary of our Glitter Sale. The Gala event will be held on Thursday, Nov. 13, 2008 at 6 pm at the Seattle Sheraton Hotel.

 

The following volunteers are needed to help with the fundraiser:

 

• Event volunteers to help with the silent auction, registration, checkout and other duties
• Daytime volunteers on Nov. 13 to set up the event
• Fashion Show volunteers to help with preparation and production related tasks
• Volunteers with daytime availability to help with related event projects

 

If you have an hour or two to give and are willing to be contacted as projects arise, please email us your name and availability.

 

Net proceeds from the event support Goodwill’s free education and job training programs, which help low income people with barriers to employment get the skills and support they need to achieve economic self-sufficiency through work.  Because jobs change lives.
