Goodwill can help you reduce your taxable income when you donate a car, motorcycle, jet skis, boat, truck or van to Goodwill.
When you donate a vehicle to Goodwill, you may claim the amount raised when the vehicle is sold on your taxes. Charities are required by law to notify the donor in writing within 30 days of its sale.

Goodwill has paired up with the Vehicle Donation to Any Charity (VDAC) organization, a free, convenient service for converting that extra car, truck, or RV into a tax-deductible donation benefiting Seattle Goodwill Industries. You can donate online, click here or call 1-866-332-1778 to make your donation.
VDAC works to make sure your vehicle is properly handled so you get your tax deduction and Goodwill gets the benefit of your donation.
