Goodwill has paired up with the Vehicle Donation to Any Charity (VDAC) organization, a free, convenient service for converting that extra car, truck, or RV into a tax-deductible donation benefiting Seattle Goodwill Industries.
When you donate a vehicle to Goodwill, you may claim the amount the vehicle was sold for on your taxes. Charities are required by law to notify the donor in writing within 30 days of its sale.
To donate online, click here or call 1-877-999-8322 to make your donation. When you call VDAC, please be sure to let them know that you are donating your vehicle to benefit Seattle Goodwill. Fax VDAC a copy of the car title; the original title will go with the vehicle when it is picked up. Please ask VDAC for their fax number to help you process your donation.
VDAC works to make sure your vehicle is properly handled, so you get your tax deduction and Goodwill gets the benefit of your donation. Thank you.
